Cheltenham Swim School

Cheltenham College Swim School offers swimming tuition in a safe environment for babies, children and adults of all abilities.

We aim to produce confident, safe swimmers with a good standard of stroke and to equip them with the skills required to enjoy water-based activities.

Our Swim School has adopted the Swim England Learn To Swim Programme which is the leading national teaching syllabus for delivering safe, inclusive and effective swimming lessons for all ages.

We set out clear objectives for swimmers to move to the next stage of their development. Teaching groups all have weekly term time lessons. The maximum group size is eight pupils and all teachers are qualified to Swim England Level 1 and Level 2 standard and all have an enhanced DBS check. Each of our lessons are designed to be fun and engaging as well as teaching pupils the necessary skills for swimming and water safety.

We also offer an adult swimming programme for beginners through to advanced swimmers wanting to improve or learn a new stroke.

Parking guidance

In the first instance please park within the sports centre or College Lawn car park.

We have limited parking at College. If there are no spaces at the sports centre or College Lawns car parks, please use off site parking such as Bath Terrace car park or local street parking.

If possible, please do consider car sharing or alternative modes of transport, such as cycling, walking, public transport.

PLEASE NOTE the car park on the Cheltenham College Prep School campus is only for pick up and drop off.
